Walk by Faith
typography design
This typography design was inspired by the upcoming 'Walk to End Alzheimer's.' The Walk to End Alzheimer's is a fight to end the disease by finding a cure and curating treatments. My great grandmother unfortunately passed away from Alzheimer's disease and my family and I participated in the walk for the first time in 2023. Now in 2024, we are continuing our support for Alzheimers victims and survivors during this year's walk. Pulling from 2 Corinthians 5:7, I developed this faith-filled custom type-design and will be putting the design on a shirt for us to wear during our walk.
There's a difference
To understand this requires some level of spiritual maturity. Walking by physical sight limits my spiritual sight. I cannot see beyond what's in front of me when I only focus on the physical -- including the obstacles that appear impossible to cross over.
It's important to understand just how real the spiritual realm is -- it's far realer than the natural realm that we see. The physical realm is simply an experience with an expiraton date -- a necessary path toward eternity.
Faith is the only thing that pleases a Holy GOD who is unseen.
Romans 8:24-25 says "For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance."
